Warranty Information
Every radio gets built and tested before we ship it. If something breaks that's our fault, we'll fix it or replace it within a year. Simple as that.
1-Year Limited Warranty
Your radio is covered for 1 year from when you get it against defects and manufacturing screw-ups. If it breaks and it's our fault, we'll fix or replace it for free.
What's Covered
Covers defects and stuff that breaks when you're using it normally. Here's what that means:
- ✓Electronics Failure - Bluetooth, AM/FM/SW FM tuner, or audio components stop working
- ✓Battery Issues - Battery fails to charge, drains abnormally fast, or won't hold charge
- ✓Power Problems - USB-C port fails, unit won't power on, or shuts off unexpectedly
- ✓Manufacturing Defects - Loose parts, faulty switches/buttons, or paint defects present at delivery
- ✓Speaker Malfunction - No sound, distorted audio, or volume control failure
- ✓LED Lighting - LED lights fail to illuminate or flicker abnormally
What's Not Covered
Warranty doesn't cover damage from:
- ✗Physical Damage - Drops, impacts, cracks, or scratches caused by user
- ✗Water/Liquid Damage - Spills, submersion, or exposure to moisture (not water-resistant)
- ✗Unauthorized Repairs - Attempts to open, modify, or repair the unit yourself
- ✗Misuse or Abuse - Using the radio in extreme conditions, beyond specifications
- ✗Normal Wear - Cosmetic wear like paint fading, minor scuffs from regular use
- ✗Accessories - USB cable, SD card (bundle), or packaging are not covered
- ✗Lost or Stolen Units - Warranty only covers defects, not loss or theft
How to File a Warranty Claim
Contact Support
Email support@nukacolaradio.com with "Warranty Claim" in the subject line. Include your order number, purchase date, and a detailed description of the problem.
Provide Documentation
Include photos or videos demonstrating the issue. Attach a copy of your original purchase receipt or order confirmation if possible. This helps us diagnose faster.
Troubleshooting
Our team may provide basic troubleshooting steps to try first (e.g., resetting, re-pairing Bluetooth). This often resolves issues quickly without needing to ship the unit.
Return Authorization
If the issue qualifies for warranty service, we'll issue a Return Authorization (RA) number and prepaid shipping label (for US/EU customers). International customers may need to cover return shipping initially (reimbursed if claim approved).
Repair or Replacement
Once we receive your unit, we'll inspect it within 2-3 business days. If the claim is valid, we'll either repair your radio or send you a replacement (if repair isn't feasible). Units are typically returned within 7-10 business days of receipt.
Return Shipping
We'll ship your repaired or replacement radio back at no charge. You'll receive tracking information once it ships.
Important Warranty Notes
Proof of Purchase Required: You must provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt) to file a warranty claim. Keep your order confirmation email.
Warranty Period: The 1-year warranty begins on your order's delivery date, not the purchase date.
Non-Transferable: This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Replacement Units: If we replace your radio, the warranty on the replacement unit continues from the original purchase date (not a new 1-year period).
Data Loss: We are not responsible for any data stored on SD cards or USB devices. Back up your music before sending the unit for warranty service.
Out-of-Warranty Repairs
If your radio is beyond the 1-year warranty period or the damage is not covered, we may still be able to help:
- • Contact support for a repair quote
- • Repair fees depend on the issue and parts needed
- • Customer pays for shipping both ways and repair costs
- • We'll provide an estimate before proceeding with repairs
